The TheDevil Project
A vision born from the Blues, a method born in 1587.
Everyone knows the mask — the Devil's Advocate. Few know the story, and the spirit, that hold it up. It is time to tell them.
I · The birth
The Blues is the transformation of pain, of sadness, into a beautiful art form. For the love of that art we took the pain — the complexity, the chaos, the noise of the world — and turned it into vision.
We were few. Then Megève, December 2024: an alpine night, a concert, and that spark changed the frequency. The network expanded — professionals, leaders, dreamers. There the pact was born.
And now we are 11
Today that network is everywhere in Italy, from the courts to the boardrooms. You won't see them, you won't know their names: the rule of silence applies, by their own choice. They are the collective intelligence that fuels the incubator. There is a single face, a single voice: the one who walks in the light so the others can create in the shadows.
II · The spirit
In 1587 Pope Sixtus V established the figure of the Promotor Fidei — the Devil's Advocate — with a precise task: to dismantle every testimony in causes of canonization. Not out of bad faith, but out of rigor. Only the sanctity that survived his fiercest objections was true sanctity.
This is the philosophy that unites us: to stress-test every argument before the opponent does. The rest is theater.
III · The Promoter method
That Devil's Advocate is not just a name: it is a method. Everyone, in their own field of expertise — law, taxation, finance, strategy — applies the same rigor and the same discipline: to dismantle in order to rebuild stronger, to doubt in order to fortify, to object before the opponent does.
Different disciplines, one single spirit. It is the Promoter method that holds the group together, and that each member carries, methodically, into their own field.
